About

My name is Jennie Sue Weltner and I started Brainstorm Ink more than 25 years ago.

I specialize in doing the things I love.  I love telling stories about people and organizations that inspire me.  I love all storytelling platforms — print, video, web/digital, social media, photography, music, writing and art — to help express great ideas, highlight good organizations and causes.

I have been lucky to work with some incredible entities over the years including Boise Cascade, St. Lukes Regional Medical Center, Idaho State Parks and Recreation, the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation, the Idaho Forest Products Commission and Idaho Public Television. 

Akin to the fabulous clients and employers I have had the privilege to work with are the bevy of talented videographers, photographers, artists and designers who help me catapult ideas into effective communications.  Video producers such as April Frame and Wide Eye Productions; graphic designers such as Wendy Cornwell at Cornwell Creative, and the bevy of talent that work at ad agencies -such as Boise’s Drake Cooper.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, including my husband Todd and children Aidan and Ella. My chocolate lab Mayla keeps me company on Boise River Greenbelt walks most days.
